First comment ... I'll be using the Red Line next week. Have a meeting at the LA Times, and the Times employee and I are to visit a Times partner in Hollywood. The employee suggested the Subway as quick, comfortable, avoids all the horrible traffic, etc. not knowing I was a transit geek and would have gone that way anyhow.
The Red Line does have a strong body of support.
